The photos show the first flowers to bloom from this cross and they are sensational! The remarkable flowers are thick, waxy, and have a heavy substance like cardboard! In addition, the layers and layers of colors from the various species in its ancestry (in particular Phal. gigantea, Phal. amboinensis, Phal. lueddemaniana) significantly influence the deep, saturated, rich color and good flower shape.
