Dendrobium laevifolium fma Yellow , NF3246
This miniature species is native to the islands of the Southwest Pacific, where it grows in mosses on trees and rocks. This beautiful, compact orchid blooms with clusters of 3/4" flowers that sparkle iridescently and is 1/2 parents of Dendrobium Hibiki. The flowers can last for over three months under optimal conditions and the plant can flower up to twice per year with adequate culture. Unlike the wild type, this variety does not produce streaks of purple pigmentation throughout its leaves.
This species likes intermediate to warm conditions and really likes to be kept on the moist side.
