Perfect Choice comes from the best of pink/lavender Cattleya parents originating from Japan and California. The pod parent, Rlc. Tokyo Bay 'Victory' SM/JOGA, is a well-known outstanding lavender Cattleya from Japan and has a Silver Medal from the Japan Orchid Growers Association (JOGA). C. Lake Casitas is from the renowned Armacost Orchids of Carpinteria, California (no longer in business), known for producing high quality Cattleyas. We chose the clone 'Purple Lady' for its impressive flower size (up to 16 cm or 6.3 inches), good shape, and heavy substance with an amazing fragrance.
