Phrag. Sorcerer's Apprentice (longifolium 'Birchwood' AM/AOS x sargentianum) NF879
One of the easiest of Phragmipediums to grow, these have proven to be very husky growers ! Bearing the rich green background of its parentage, it also carries the added charm of gently undulating ruffled petals marked with a dark burgundy edge. Its light green pouch is blushed burgundy-red with its interior spotted with the same burgundy-red. This hybrid is capable of bearing up to seven large flowers on a single branched inflorescence and is Very Highly Recommended ! PLEASE NOTE: Since this is a Seedling Population (not a Mericlone which produces exact duplicates), the picture is for illustration purposes only. No two plants will be the same from this cross, and they will flower in a range of possibilities coming from the two parents.
