This hybrid bears the clonal name of his company ‘Prince’, which Mr. Yang Yang only gives to clones that are the best (i.e., top tier). The pod parent, Phal. Ho's Green Wave is Phal. Penang Violacea x Phal. Yungho Gelblitz. Phal. Penang Violacea is Phal. violacea x Phal. micholitzii. The pollent parent, Phal. Chang Maw Evergreen is Phal. Yungho Gelblitz x Phal. Tzu Chiang Pawan. Phal. micholitzii in the background tends to "wash" off all colors and give you a pure base color. The Phal. Yungho Gelblitz influence tends to increase the size of the flower and impart a strong fragrance. Phal. micholitzii influence also keeps the plant size very manageable. Phal.
