This particular red clone, ‘Ember’, was actually selected for its rare RED foliage ! The cooler the weather and the brighter the light, the more red is produced in its foliage, making it very ornamental even when not in flower. Its waxy fragrant flowers are a wonderful rich red, and it can be used as a pollen or pod parent for future red hybridizing. If the spikes remain green, do not remove them as they will continue to produce additional buds along with a new spike in season. These are limited Stem Props and are Very Highly Recommended !
