Phal . Rainbow Falconer was registered by DS Chang in 2015. Mr. Yang Yang of Prince Orchids (Taiwan) remade this using the extraordinary clone 'Eddy's Snow' (an alba clone) of Phal . Chang Maw Jade as the pod parent and Phal. tetraspis f. alba as the pollen parent. This population is from a limited stem propagation. Phal . Rainbow Falconer 'Prince' is an outstanding hybrid and resembles a snow-white version of Phal . Chang Maw Jade, but improved with compact, fast, and easy growing from Phal. tetraspisf. Alba. Compact plants produce white flowers with great shape and form with crystalline substance, held high above the foliage. It has wonderful fragrance and multiple-spike habit from Phal. tetraspis f. alba influence. Flowers spike remain green for several years and will continue to flower. Do not cut the spike unless it is brown and dry. The flowers have very heavy substance and last a long time. Perfect for growing on a windowsill, under lights, or in an orchid cabinet.
