Phal. Nobby's Purple Eagle 'MOntclair ' is quickly becoming a rising star in novelty Phalaenopsis breeding. We predict that you will see many new hybrids with it as parent as it is a fantastic breeder. The pod parent, Phal. Nobby's Purple Eagle, is Phal. Black Eagle × Phal. George Vasquez 'Eureka' FCC/AOS. Phal. Black Eagle is Phal. George Vasquez x Phal. Coral Nosa. Phal. Coral Nosa is a reliable novelty breeder with Phal. Coral Isles x Phal. venosa. Phal. Nobby's Purple Eagle 'Jiaho' is 59% Phal. violacea, 25% Phal. lueddemanniana, 13% Phal. venosa, 3% Phal. amboinensis. This hybrid is an example of a "breeder's hybrid". It can be used to introduce the indigo gene into its offspring, making it an important breeder. The genetic composition is 80% Phal. violacea, 12% Phal. lueddemanniana, 6% Phal. venosa, 2% Phal. amboinensis. This hybrid features an extremely compact growth, multiple spiking habit (will rebloom on old spikes for several years), and a fragrance that is to die for! Fragrant from 9 am to 3 pm, it has fragrance genes from all of the species in its background. Do not miss out on this fabulous hybrid as it is packed with many classic novelty parents, rarely found these days!

PLEASE NOTE: Since this is a Seedling Population (not a Mericlone which produces exact duplicates), the picture is for illustration purposes only. No two plants will be the same from this cross, and they will flower in a range of possibilities coming from the two parents.
