Description

Just awarded an AM/AOS to our client, and the past President of the AOS, Mr. Chris Rehmann for his seedling from this strain ! This is a rare opportunity to obtain seedlings from the strain that just received the AM/AOS plus several flower quality awards in addition to an Award of Quality at the November 2014 TOGA judging ! Producing spectacular color and form for this charming species, these plants are showing tremendous species vigor. The pod parent is the same Paph. spicerianum that recently received the annual WW Wilson award and the pollen parent is a select Asian strain. Their progeny are a great step forward for this species due to the combination of two totally different strains of Paph. spicerianum. The result has been improved flower form exhibiting a broad dorsal sepal and wide petals over compact broad glossy leaves. Even with its wide dorsal sepal, as the flower matures the dorsal sepal will roll slightly as is typical for this species. We expect even more awards in the US from this exceptional new strain. Very Highly Recommended !

PLEASE NOTE: Since this is a Seedling Population (not a Mericlone which produces exact duplicates), the picture is for illustration purposes only. No two plants will be the same from this cross, and they will flower in a range of possibilities coming from the two parents.
