Luisia. thailandica , NF2284
Luisia thailandica is an unusual and strange-looking species found in Myanmar, Thailand, Laos and Vietnam at elevations of 1000 to 1400 meters as a medium sized, cool growing epiphyte that blooms in the spring on an axillary, short, successively single flowered inflorescence.
Plants are best grown in a hanging basket or on a mount. Plants grown in pots should be grown in media that is well drained such as medium fir bark or sphagnum moss. They require moderate sunlight, intermediate to warm temperatures, and regular water. Rare and not often seen in the marketplace. Highly recommended for the species collector.
