Often called the Rock Loving Dendrobium, this adorable miniature Dendrobium species grows on rocks on the eastern side of Cape York, Australia! Since it’s often exposed to harsh conditions, this species has evolved into a small grower with its pseudobulbs reaching less than 25cm tall. Capable of producing multitudes of gently cascading inflorescences on a fully mature plant, its culture should follow that of its endemic environment. Water and fertilize normally during its season of new growth and flowering, allowing a slightly drier rest once the flowers have faded until the onset of new growth in the spring at which time regular watering and fertilizing should be resumed.
