First time offered in the USA! This is a selfing (i.e., self pollination) of an exciting new color form of the species Phal. lindenii from the province of Aurora in the Philippines, located in the eastern part of Central Luzon region. We are very grateful to receive seeds from our good friend in the Aurora area. We are delighted to be the first to introduce this new strain in the USA.
This new strain of Phal. lindenii has more pastel pink at base of flower and a beautiful striped lip. The flower spike can be longer than the regular Phal. lindenii and can be in bloom for more than 2 years on the same spike (do not cut the flower spike after flowering). The leaves are variegated, having mottled markings or patterns. This species is very compact, perfect for growing on a windowsill or under lights. As these plants are seedlings, each plant is unique and may differ from the photo.
