This strain is a remake of the very popular Phal. Stone Dance. The clone ‘Yellow Butterfly’ is a yellow color form instead of the standard purple. Phal. equestris imparts its compact growth habit, branching inflorescence and abundance of flowers. This remake is a tetraploid since tetraploid versions of both parents were used. Tetraploid means it has double the number of chromosomes, resulting in larger flowers with heavy substance, self-supporting erect inflorescences and long-lasting flowers. This hybrid has a long flowering period and the flowers are highly fragrant. Puts on an eye-catching display when blooming. Perfect for growing under lights, or on a windowsill. Highly recommended for use in breeding.
