This Made in the USA hybrid was created by late the H.P. Norton of North Carolina (registered in 2002). The pollen parent, Phal. Spring Silk, created by Stewart Orchids, Inc. of California (no longer in business), is an impressive 5-inch pastel pink that has a white Phal in its breeding background. Phal. Silk Butterfly 'White Lip' is a remarkable 4-inch wide standard pink Phal with an eye-catching, unusual, white lip and contrasting white halo center. Very long lasting flowers are very striking, and have an excellent diamond dusted texture. Excellent for growing under lights or on a bright windowsill.
