(Laelia purpurata var. schusteriana x Laelia purpurata var. carnea 'Lady Godiva' HCC/AOS)

The Queen of the Laelias. L.purpurata is found in the coastal areas of Brazil, south of Rio de Janeiro. Ease of culture,as well as extremely showy presentation make L.purpurata a favorite of orchidists the world over. We have cross a blue lip form with pink lip form. We are looking for improved varient in the lip with 5-7 flowers per spike. Usually flowering around Mother's Day. Make a great specimen subject.
