Endemic to China, Laos, Malaysia and Thailand, this semi-deciduous Dendrobium species carries a sweet Jasmine fragrance !  Capable of flowering almost any time of the year, its short inflorescences, carrying up to three flowers, are produced from the nodes of its older canes that have dropped their leaves during the winter.  A great temperature tolerant species, it’s best grown mounted on trees or in baskets in frost free areas to allow the flowering from its pendant canes the best display.  A more compact grower than Den. superbum, provide a drier winter rest with no fertilizer to ensure an early spring flowering.  Resume normal watering and fertilizing at the onset of new growths.  Showy and Highly Recommended !
