Den. anosmum 'A Touch of Class' ( x )
Endemic to Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines and Papua and New Guinea, this clone of Den. anosmum exhibits the more rare compact, shorter growing form of this species ! Flowering in the late spring along its leafless canes, it can produce 8-10 crisp white 3 ½ -4” diamond-dusted flowers per cane, their margins heavily feathered fuchsia-pink making for a striking presentation and bearing am amazing lilac fragrance. A lower to medium light, hot to cool, deciduous grower, it needs a distinctly drier period beginning in October until the onset of new growth in the spring at which time heavy watering and fertilizing should be resumed. This species is best grown mounted to accommodate its pendulous canes and dramatic floral display. Very Highly Recommended !
