MOUNTED---A rare beauty among leafless orchids, Chiloschista viridiflava is not often available ! The Chiloschista family of orchids is leafless, photosynthesizing from their exposed roots, although they might occasionally produce a tiny leaf. An easy grower, under intermediate to warm temperatures, Chiloschista viridiflava flowers reliably every spring on arching pendant flower spikes which emerge from its “tangle” of roots, each spike literally covered with ½” yellow-green flowers. A very special and unique treasure to grace your orchid collection !
