This is a remarkable remake by Yuan Dung Orchid Nursery of Taiwan using two superior awarded parents. The pod parent, Rlc. Ports of Paradise 'Emerald Isle' was awarded a First Class Certificate from the American Orchid Society (FCC/AOS)—the highest flower quality award. The pollen parent, Rl. digbyana 'Mrs. Chase' AM/AOS, was awarded an Award of Merit from the American Orchid Society (AM/AOS).

The clone ‘Green Angel’ was selected for its superior long-lasting flowers, compact growth habit, non-fading green color, and strong fragrance. Plants are very compact for type and bears big 6—8 inch flowers on 12—14 inch tall plant. Its compact size makes it perfect for growing under lights or on a bright windowsill. Can be grown in a pot, hanging basket or mounted. A must for lovers of green Cattleya flowers and fans of Rl. digbyana crosses. We expect flower quality awards from this spectacular cross.
