An adorable and fragrant novelty miniature species from New Guinea ! An easy grower, it can quickly reach the specimen size shown in the picture, forming beautiful soft mounding carpets of small pseudobulbs, each producing three tiny leaves. A vigorous bloomer, the mat is totally covered with tiny but brilliantly colored globe-like flowers several times a year. A very flexible grower, it will be happy growing with Phalaenopsis or behind Cattleyas and is excellent for under-lights and windowsill growers. Although bright light can produce more flowers, the plant is not a sun lover. Prefers intermediate to cool temperatures with abundant moisture and humidity, especially if grown in baskets.
