Orchids.com Company/Return Policy

  • Orders
  • Only Gift Basket & Arrangement orders ship out the same day if ordered before 1 PM Pacific Standard Time.
  • On occasion, orchids.com may substitute a particular cross of orchids for the gift items in order to ship them out in a timely manner.
  • Items from the general catalog can take anywhere from 1 – 7 business days to process order. .
  • If a particular item or size is sold out, there is a possibility that shipment might be delayed until orchids.com makes contact with the buyer via phone call or email.
  • Orders going to Puerto Rico and Hawaii need a Phytosanitary Certificate for an additional charge of $85.30. Hawaii orders also need an import permit from the recipient. Please state in the “special shipping instructions” box that you agree to the additional charge to obtain the Phytosanitary Certificate when placing the order.
  • Shipping
  • It is imperative that we are given the correct address to ship packages. Orchids.com cannot be held responsible for orders that are misdelivered because of an incorrect or incomplete address. Please make sure that you check the confirmation that is sent to you immediately after the order is placed to ensure that all the information is correct.
  • To ensure safe arrival of healthy orchid plants, someone must be home to sign for the package. FedEx will leave packages at the doorstep if nobody is home without signature.
  • Please obtain an authorization from ORCHIDS.COM before returning any shipments.

  • Please contact orchids.com within 7 days of arrival if there is damage, mistake or items missing on your shipment.
  • Due to the nature of live orchids, we regret that we cannot honor claims reported after 7 days of shipment.
  • Replacement
  • Proof of damage in a form of photo is required for all replacements before they can be processed. Photos can be emailed toSupport@orchids.com or sent by mail to 11039 Monte Vista Ave. , Montclair , CA 91763.
  • Depending on the severity of damage, orchids.com reserves the right to provide a partial refund or credit for future purchase as compensation.For example: if one flower is damaged on a plant, Orchids.com does not consider that grounds for a replacement.
  • Replacements arrive with a 2-day FedEx shipping method
  • Returns
  • Please obtain an authorization from orchids.com before returning any shipments.
  • The buyer is responsible for shipping charges that will incur when returning any plants. Orchids.com reserves the right to deny any return. A 25% restocking fee will be charged. These fees apply unless the item is damaged. Items returned must arrive in the same manner as it was received.
