Oncidium Space Race is an orchid hybrid originated by H&R Nurseries in 2001. It is a cross of Onc. Sphacetante x Onc. Pupukea Sunset. Onc. Space Race 'Super' is super easy to grow and a reliable bloomer; a perfect plant for beginners. It doesn’t need special conditions to grow well. It thrives in intermediate temperatures but is very adaptable and can tolerate hot temperatures in summer and cool temps during winter. These plants grow in bright indirect light; perfect for a window sill or under lights. It produces dozens of distinctive colored flowers, unlike the common yellow of many Oncidiums. Well-grown mature plants can produce two inflorescences per pseudobulb. Water and fertilize regularly, letting it dry between watering. Highly recommended.
