Rhyncholaeliocattleya (abbreviated Rlc.) Hsinying Aloha was created and registered by Ching Hua Orchids (Taiwan) in 2013
This complex hybrid has 20 Cattleya alliance species in its ancestry, but C. walkeriana dominates and heavily influences both the plant size, foliage, as well as the flower shape. Compact growths with short, thick foliage with a large (4 – 6 inches), shapely, and fragrant flower, capable of flowering twice a year.
The plants like bright indirect light and temperatures between about 55 – 60° F at night to around 85° F during the day. Water and fertilize regularly during active growth. Allow the roots to dry a bit between watering. Its compact size and amazing fragrance with this a highly sought after Cattleya hybrid. The large magenta flowers are breathtaking and long lasting. Grow this on a window sill or under lights.
