Description & Details

Definitely the most charming and highly sought-after of all Phalaenopsis species. It is found in the Ilocos region of the Philippine island of Luzon. The flowers produce a light fragrance during the day. The sepals and petals are light pink and the lip is orange-yellow. Flowers are produced sequentially over many months on pendant, branching spikes above compact growth. Do not cut the spike after flowering as this species tends to keiki at the tip of the flower spike. It can easily grow into specimen size with multiple spikes, giving the effect of a little bush of soft pink flowers. It is one of the easiest Phalaenopsis species to grow and does not take much space. A must for a beginner or species lover! Easy to grow, blooms for a very long period, perfect for growing on a windowsill or under lights, grows well potted or mounted. A must for collectors of miniature orchids.

PLEASE NOTE: Since this is a seedling population (not a mericlone which produces exact duplicates), the picture is for illustration purposes only. No two plants will be the same from this cross, and they will flower in a range of possibilities coming from the two parents.
