This highly unusual, mesmerizing clone comes from Mr. Yang Yang for the US market, and according to the breeder, is undoubtedly the best clone from this rarely released hybrid for its large, full round form, unusual concentric barring, and amazing fragrance. These plants are a first release limited stem propagation.
A myriad of fragrant, waxy species are combined into this fabulous and fragrant, waxy, novelty hybrid. Phal. lueddemanniana, Phal. amboinensis, Phal. violacea, Phal. gigantea, Phal. fasciata, and Phal. hieroglyphica have combined to produce long-lasting, uniform, full violet-magenta flowers, heavily and evenly concentric barred; the lip is deep-violet magenta; the striking overall color pattern appears to radiate from the center; substance is firm and texture satin. It has a multiple spike habit, which can retain its green spikes from one flowering to the next, adding additional buds to that spike while also creating a new spike. Do not cut the spike unless it is brown and dry. Excellent for growing on a windowsill or under lights. Phal.
