This is one of our best-selling peloric (petals mimic the lip) novelty hybrid Phalaenopsis. One look and you can see why. Bright, cheerful, flat yellow-green fragrant flowers covered with small flecks of maroon. The two “eyes” on the petals are hypnotizing! It has a compact growth and high flower count—attributable to the Phal. Brother Sara Gold pod parent. The pollen parent, Phal. Chiada Spark (Taipei Gold x Sunrise Red Peoker), is actually a harlequin type Phalaenopsis, which strongly influences the flat shape of the petals (known as Butterfly type) and extra long-lasting flowers. Hard to imagine, but the harlequin type Phal. Golden Peoker ‘Ebony Queen’ is a grandparent. The extremely heavy flower substance and heat tolerance is influenced by Phal. venosa and Phal. gigantea in the background. It has compact leaves and is a sequential bloomer that can flower from old and new mature spikes for several years.
