Discovered in 1816, this Paph. is distinguished as being the first species introduced into cultivation ! In its native habitat it grows under lower light conditions, similar to that of a Phalaenopsis. Now recognized as an endangered species from the Himalayas, we used plants collected and imported by other growers to produce these mature seedlings, prior to their endangered classification. As a result, all our seedlings have been grown in the laboratory from seed. With their attractively mottled leaves and charming green accented flowers, these plants are strong growers and will quickly and easily achieve specimen size. Very Highly Recommended !
