Known for producing an amazingly grand display, Paphiopedilum (abbreviated Paph.) Michael Koopowitz is an all-around favorite multi-floral Paph! It is a primary hybrid of Paph. philippinense and Paph. sanderianum, which has the longest flower petals of any Paph. species. The original cross was registered in 1993 by Paphanatics, co-owned by our good friend Dr. Harold Koopowitz. We are among the first few to flower the original cross of Paph. Michael Koopowitz. This new population is our signature strain—a sibling cross of two of our best awarded clones of Paph. Michael Koopowitz, which have a more distinctively marked and striped dorsal sepal, and gracefully twisting long petals. The robust plants are handsome with upright leaves, and are vigorous growers. We expect awards from this new strain. Very Highly Recommended!
