Watercolor-brushed pink flowers with the bold accent of an orange lip and carrying a delightful fragrance ! This beautiful seed-raised species from Southeast Asia produces a magnificent display of pendulous densely-flowered 8” inflorescenses from spring through summer arising from nodes near the top of the canes and flowering on leafless and leafed canes. This variety of Den. farmeri is a much more compact grower than the more familiar yellow form and prefers moderate to bright light and heavy watering with a short winter rest. Although an intermediate to warm grower, we have been growing them outdoors all year in California so the plants are already conditioned to weather stresses for most parts of the country. These plants are currently in 3 ½” pots with a mix of New Zealand moss and bamboo charcoal, a potting mix which they seem to love. Already producing 1-4 spikes, they are in puffy bud right now making it the perfect time to ship them. Very Limited !
