Producing upright canes and bearing velvety firm substance flowers with an amazing lilac fragrance, this deciduous orchid will flower after its leaves have yellowed and dropped. Our photo shows its true color, once the flowers are fully open, when grown under brighter and warmer conditions. A lovely warmth-tolerant hybrid, it does not require the lower temperature drop in the fall unlike its Den. superbum pollen parent. Not only is this a great hybrid to grow under Cattleya, Dendrobium and Oncidium conditions, it’s perfect for indoors or under-lights growers who love the fragrance of Den. superbum but are space-challenged.
