Pleurothallis . boliviana , NF2724
Pleurothallis (abbreviated Pleur.) boliviana is found in Bolivia at elevations of 1,970 – 8,040 feet (600 – 2,450 meters) as a micro-miniature sized, warm to cold growing epiphyte. It blooms in fall and winter, producing few to many small flowers on an erect to pendant inflorescence. These seed-grown plants do best in bright indirect light, high humidity, and good air movement. Grow in warm, intermediate to cool temperatures (45°F min. to 98°F max.); tolerant of extremes favoring warm. These nice, full plants are potted in bark in a 2.5-inch pot. Keep moist; water 2 – 3 times per week (let dry lightly between watering). These high elevation plants prefer good quality water low in total dissolved solids and very dilute fertilizer. This rare, micro-mini species is another wearable orchid.
