Phal Sasquatch ' White Angel ' ( World Class x amabilis var formosanum ) MC2057
Sasquatch (also called Bigfoot), most commonly spotted in the Pacific Northwest, is usually described as an ape-like creature, 6 to 10 feet tall, upwards of 500 pounds. Phal. Sasquatch ‘White Angel’ was named for its unusually large white flowers (called bigfoot or big lip) where the lip mimics the petals. It received the First Place at 2019 Costa Rica Orchid Show "Festival de Orquideas Escazú 2019".
These plants are miniature and compact with the strong influence from Phal. aphrodiate var. formosanum 4N form. The clone ‘White Angel’ begins producing multi-spikes on young plants in a 2.5-inch pot. Plants stay small, with compact leaves, diamond-dusted flower texture. Very charming with long-lasting flowers. Perfect for growing under lights, or in an orchid cabinet. Extraordinary combination of large biglip flowers and a miniature compact growth. Award quality.
