Description

In this remarkable cross, we use our very best green flowered Phalaenopsis—Phal. Nobby’s Green Eagle 'Montclair', which has outstanding green flowers with amazing shape, form, and substance, and bred it with our best blue—Phal. bellina var. coerulea 'Montclair'. The goal is to produce the ultimate green flower with a contrasting blue center. The Pod parent, Phal. Nobby’s Green Eagle 'Montclair', is Phal. Gelblieber × Phal. Nobby's Fox. Phal. Nobby’s Green Eagle 'Montclair' produces abundant spikes of extremely fragrant yellow-green flowers, the green color intensifies in cooler and brighter conditions! A compact grower with relatively short spikes; its waxy flowers are long-lasting. The pollen parent is our best (traditional) Borneo form of Phal. bellina var. coerulea, the clone 'Montclair'. We expect this cross will be very free flowering, have compact growth habit, extremely fragrant flowers with excellent shape and substance. It should continue to flower from old spikes for several years in addition to blooming on new spikes each year, so don’t remove the spike until it has dried and turned brown. With exceptional parents of this amazing cross, we expect this hybrid will receive several awards. Don’t miss this opportunity to get these award quality plants. Very Highly Recommended!
