Luisia. discolor 'Ruby Cambodia' , MC2002
A fabulous and fragrant terrestrial with beautifully patterned leaves, often called the “Jewel Orchid” ! Grown by many for its decorative foliage, it produces multitudes of small white flowers on erect 4-12” inflorescences emerging from the terminal end of each mature leaf cluster. An easy grower for windowsill and under-lights culture, in nature it grows in light humus-rich soil under shady conditions. Keep the potting mix moist, but well-drained by the addition of pebbles, sponge rock or fir bark to the potting soil, to avoid rot. It thrives under high humidity and watering year round and can be grown from warm to intermediate temperatures. These plants are divisions of our stock plant and are Highly Recommended !
