Description 

Dendrobium uniflorum is a very attractive species with up to 15-inch upright canes and 1-inch dark green glossy leaves; individual flowers appear throughout the year at the node on leafed and leafless canes. The long lasting 1-1/4 inch flowers are pure white with a large four-lobed light green lip. This species is found in Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Philippines, Borneo, Sulawesi, and Sumatra, at elevations approximately 1,000 ft. Den. uniflorum is very easy to grow. It is tolerant of shady light levels as well as high light, but favoring bright conditions. It is temperature tolerant as well, able to grow in warm to intermediate temperatures. Den. uniflorum grows best in bright light, warm temperature, and high humidity with good air circulation. Water and fertilize regularly. It is free flowering and can bloom at any time of the year.
