A very special treat from Japan where it was once a highly guarded species, only passed on for generations from father to son ! This free-blooming miniature species is found in mossy humid forests where it enjoys a dry winter followed by a wet spring and summer. Its fragrant long-lasting flowers are produced in the spring on short single flowered inflorescences produced from the nodes of its leafless canes. This particular clone, ‘Marble’, has the added “wow” factor of beautifully variegated leaves, attractive even when not in flower. Very limited and Very Highly Recommended
