Nestor ! ‘Red Dragon’ produces larger flowers in an even darker color than the clone ‘Sweet Fragrance’, and the lilac fragrance is even more amazing. Its deciduous upright canes produce dramatically pendulous spikes bearing multitudes of firm substance velvety flowers with no need for cooler night temperatures to initiate spiking, unlike Den. nobile and its hybrids. This warmth-tolerant hybrid can grow under Cattleya, Dendrobium and Oncidium conditions and is ideal for indoors or under-lights space-challenged growing. A free-bloomer, it usually is in flower for Mother’s Day in the late spring. Highly Recommended !
