Description

Endemic to the Congo, Ivory Coast and Zaire, this rarely available species of Bulbophyllum is found in lowland forests where it receives no direct sunlight !  A fall to winter bloomer, its long purple flattened rachis produces multitudes of ½” long purple flowers.  This species favors growing in shallow pots under warm to hot conditions with regular fertilizing and good air movement.  Happily grown with Phalaenopsis, this rare member of the Bulbophyllum family will easily fit into any collection.  Very limited and Highly Recommended !

PLEASE NOTE: Since this is a Seedling Population (not a Mericlone which produces exact duplicates), the picture is for illustration purposes only. No two plants will be the same from this cross, and they will flower in a range of possibilities coming from the two parents.
