This particular hybrid always evokes a loud “WOW” from all who see it in bloom !  Bold well defined tessellations make it a standout with its full round segments and flat presentation.  The pod parent, V. Gordon Dillon, gives this hybrid extra heavy flower substance glistening with a diamond dust texture.  And the pollen parent, V. coerulea, enhances its dramatic tessellation.  This particular hybrid flowers later than V. coerulea, usually in time for Valentine’s Day.  For a real show stopper, this is Very Highly Recommended
