A prospective cross using our select dark red  clone ‘Ember’ of Phal. Valentinii. Our remake of Phal. Valentinii 'Ember' used Phal. violacea fma. indigo and our awarded Phal. cornu-cernu fma. chattaladae 'Montclair' AM/AOS. In crossing Phal. Valentinii 'Ember' with Phal. violacea var. indigo, we expect an indigo blue color form with compact growth habit, and heat tolerance from the strong influence of Phal. cornu-cervi, and sweet fragrance, multiple spiking habit from Phal. violacea. A sequential bloomer! Do not cut the flower spike when it finishes blooming as it will continue to bloom on spikes for years while new spikes form. Highly recommended for growers in hot climates.  As these plants are seedlings, each plant is unique and may differ from the photo.

PLEASE NOTE: Since this is a Seedling Population (not a Mericlone which produces exact duplicates), the picture is for illustration purposes only. No two plants will be the same from this cross, and they will flower in a range of possibilities coming from the two parents.
