It's has been
a busy 2008 spring at Orchids.com and Norman's Orchids. We have
attended two international shows in March -- the 2008 Japan Grand
Prix Orchid Show and the 2008 Taiwan International Orchid Show.
Along the way, we visited top growers, kabitzed with top
breeders and exchanged ideas with other commercial growers. Norman
Fang helped organize the American Orchid Society
judging contingent that traveled to Taiwan. The award
quality they witnessed in Taiwan alone resulted in an astonishing
123 AOS Awards including six FCC's (First Class Certificates), three
AQ's (Awards of Quality) and four CCE's (Certificates of Cultural
Excellence).
We are excited about
our spring offering. Please visit the "Selected
Plant" and "new release
section" where you will find our exceptional offerings.

MC1140 Dtps. Purple Martin 'Champion'
Stunning fragrant lavender-blue flowers in a small package. This
clone is the fusion of a violet parent with the cerulean blue form
of violacea to produce its more compact spike of deliciously
fragrant flowers. With Phal. violacea and Doritis pulcherrima in its
background, it can flower from late spring into fall, often
continuing to add buds well into the winter months. A truly compact
grower, this multi-floral miniature produces 1" flowers in abundance
on branching spikes, creating the ultimate in charming displays.
Ideal for "under lights" and small space growing, it will easily fit
into any size collection. Highly recommended.

Dtps. Fusheng's Mystical Dream 'Come True'
A
delightful combination of harlequin and splash-petal patterning and
the perfect choice for those who love both ! The 3" white flowers
are beautifully patterned with a pink blush, accent spotting from
its famous Ever Spring Prince harlequin parent, and are dramatically
finished with a dark burgundy splash-petal picotee around the entire
flower. Heavy flower substance gives a long-lasting majestic
presentation on tall spikes with each consistently patterned flower
presented to its greatest advantage. As a unique new direction in
splash-petal breeding, this clone is highly recommended. An
orchids.com
exclusive.

Tips: When to repot your orchids- spring is the
best
time to repot your orchids. But certain signs will tell
you when to repot that orchid of yours. Frist,
orchid roots are coming out of the pot.
Second, plant itself is hanging outside of
pot. Thirdly, potting medium stays soggy
and
wet.
