Endemic to the Philippines, Borneo and Thailand, this delightful species, a member of the Calcarifera section, is easy to grow and flower !  With its wonderful foliage and red-striped canes, it’s very ornamental, even when not in flower.  Mature plants can grow up to 14” in height with semi-deciduous to deciduous canes.  Each cane can produce up to four showy pendant inflorescences, each inflorescence carrying up to nineteen 1.2” waxy yellow-green flowers, and each cane can reflower for up to five years in addition to flowering from those newly matured.  When given bright Cattleya light, it will produce stronger and shorter canes bearing more flowers.  Allow for a drier rest at the end of the growing season in late fall.  Highly Recommended !

PLEASE NOTE: Since this is a Seedling Population (not a Mericlone which produces exact duplicates), the picture is for illustration purposes only. No two plants will be the same from this cross, and they will flower in a range of possibilities coming from the two parents.
