Perhaps the very best C. Moscombe hybrid today, a proven splash petal Cattleya in Asia !  A definite show stopper, ‘Phoenix’ was granted an AM/AOS at the 1997 Santa Barbara Fall Orchid Show, drawing the judges eyes with its unique v-shaped yellow splash on the petals, creating a wonderful mirror of its lip pattern.  A compact grower for the type and extremely fragrant, it’s capable of flowering with up to four large 14.3cm flowers on a mature plant.  Its best flowering is in the fall, but it can often bloom again in the spring.  An absolute must for any fall-blooming Cattleya collection.  Highly Recommended!
